• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and time spent in the app
• Cookies: small files used to keep you logged in and improve your experience

We use the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

• Google Maps API — for court location and mapping (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
• Firebase (Google) — for authentication and database storage
• Stripe — for payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Vercel — for app hosting and performance analytics

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the I Got Next app
• Display your check-ins and nearby court activity to other users
• Process payments for Pro subscriptions
• Send important account and service updates
• Respond to your support requests
• Monitor and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues

We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Location Data

I Got Next uses your location to show you nearby basketball courts and display check-in activity in your area. Location access is requested explicitly and you may deny or revoke this permission at any time through your browser or device settings. We collect approximate location — not precise GPS tracking — and do not store your location history beyond what is necessary for active check-ins.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Public Information

When you check in to a court, your username and check-in status are visible to other I Got Next users in that area. This is core to the app's functionality. You may remove a check-in at any time.

4.2 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party providers (Google, Stripe, Vercel) only as necessary to operate the app. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.

4.4 We Do Not Sell Your Data

I Got Next does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Check-in history is retained to improve the app experience. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability: request your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy

I Got Next is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Google Maps Attribution

I Got Next uses the Google Maps Platform. By using our app, you agree to be bound by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Court maps and location features are powered by Google Maps.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on the app and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
